Pool House
This award-winning pool house, designed by Mitchell O'Neil and honored with an Award of Merit from the American Institute of Architects in 2015, exemplifies sleek modern sophistication. Catering to the owners' passion for swimming, the pool serves as a central design feature, seamlessly integrating a series of gable-ended spaces. The almost fully separated garage and east wing are connected only by a breezeway and gallery, enhancing privacy and space.
Crisp white facades with tall windows and dynamic rooflines characterize the clean lines of the exterior, while lush palm trees complement the refined silhouette. A fountain next to the projecting island-like living area creates a dramatic focal point, especially when lit at night.
Inside, minimalist aesthetics and neutral tones create tranquil, uncluttered spaces. A cube element between the foyer and kitchen efficiently houses the powder room and refrigerator/pantry, optimizing functionality. Vaulted ceilings and built-in storage enhance bedrooms, while the bathrooms' textured wood and frosted glass add a touch of luxury.
The glass corridor not only connects interior spaces but also frames stunning views of the pool and gardens, embodying the home's harmonious blend with nature and offering a serene, stylish retreat.
